Reporting into the Head of Tax, the Tax Manager will be responsible for using their knowledge and proven experience to upskill the Vodafone New Zealand Tax Function and enable it to deliver tax information to a listed company standard as well as providing support to the board moving forwards.

What Will i Be Doing?

 

• Holding responsibility for the preparation of accurate, timely tax reporting to an NZ listed company standard.
• Using your advanced tax accounting knowledge and experience working in a listed company to upskill others in the team and develop robust, repeatable processes.
• Confidently and professionally articulate tax information to internal and external stakeholders including IRD, auditors, directors etc.
• Working collaboratively with other members of the tax/finance team and across the wider business.
• Embracing agile working practices and driving process improvement.

What Will I Bring?

 

• Advanced knowledge of deferred tax accounting.
• Experience delivering tax reporting and all associated tax governance requirements for a listed company.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage change/ambiguity effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Tertiary Accounting or Legal qualifications.
