• Overall, this role aims to ensure that the documentation for trust and fiduciary structures are prepared appropriately on timely basis in conjunction with Barclays Legal
• Support the platform on risk related compliances, risk assessments and review for all structures on the platform
• Ensure that the structures on the platform are set up in accordance with the Barclays Internal Policies & Standards viz. India Fiduciary Standards within the controls framework.
• The role also supports the platform for the paperwork required for the Controls Forum, periodic Watchlist trackers, Fiduciary Risk Committee and ensure compliance required for insurance business.
• Additionally, the role acts as a back-up for support to Front Office on operational aspects in the business.

What will you be doing?

• Reviewing Trust and Fiduciary Documents in conjunction with legal team.
• Conducting Structure Risk Assessment and Review Committee meetings and preparing the paperwork for the same (Notice/Agenda/Minutes)
• Assisting in Trust related compliance required under the Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, etc
• Ensuring compliance under the India Fiduciary Standards including various checks on special assets infusions, real estate infusions in the Trust.
• Ensure periodic filings required for insurance business under IRDA Regulations.
• Support to the Trust & Fiduciary team as second Point of Contact for :
• Preparation and Circulation of proposals to Business Acceptance Forum on structure acceptance special assets infusions                                        
• Distribution related activities - Call back confirmations, documentation
• Transactional order approvals
• Structure onboarding
• Updation of System post Business Acceptance Forum approval
• Liasioning with Trust Operations for transactions
• Legal Research
• Secretarial research and secretarial support for Trust Structures
• Supporting (from Trust Front Office perspective) to Client Due Diligence team, Data Management Team, Control Functions
• Supporting the platform on various projects for bringing in efficiencies

What we’re looking for:

• The candidate should have at least a graduate qualification from a recognized or a reputed institution  preferably in law or  a company secretary
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable with handling structure documentation and  have the ability to connect with legal to document the client’s requirements appropriately
