Transactional Tax (Tra. Tax) team at Bangalore Global Business Services (GBS) hub taking care of indirect/direct tax related end to end transactional compliance activities which includes of return working, tax payment processing, return filing and necessary financial entries for the country India as well as overseas countries. We as a Tra. Tax believe in accuracy & superior quality in tax activities with zero tolerances in tax compliance. As of now, there are seven overseas countries under ABB (IN, MY, AU, NZ, ZA, QA, NM) and five countries (USA, AU, ZA, SG&ID) are already on boarded and performing seamlessly. In 2020, there are another eight counties (USA, SG, ID, TH, EG, VT, UA, BR) are planned to be on boarded by end of the year.
As a Tra. Tax Executive, you will be responsible for correct and accurate working of tax liability, filing of tax returns, payments.

This role is based in Bangalore and reporting into Transactional Tax Manager.

Your responsibilities

Working knowledge in India GST/ direct tax activities.
Mapping of tax General Ledger (GL) accounts as per the compliance.
Clearing of tax GL accounts as per the local as well as global compliance.
Working toward standardization of transactional tax processes.
Preparing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), process flow, work instructions and business understanding.
Correcting and maintaining accuracy work of tax liability.
Filing of tax returns and payments.

Your background

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
Should have minimum 4-6 years of working experience in India GST/direct taxes.
Should have good working experience in SAP/MS Office.
Should have problem solving ability as he/she will be responsible to resolve functional tax issues with respect to domestic as well as overseas countries.
Willing to work in shift based on requirement.
