We are currently seeking a media relations specialist to support our consumer and advertising communications efforts in North America. The ideal candidate has a successful record of managing strong press relationships and has a solid knowledge of the issues that sit at the intersection of technology and pop culture across b-to-c and b-to-b communications strategies. The person chosen thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven working environment. The ideal candidate brings solid know-how and passion relating to verticals such as celebrity/influencer use of Twitter, gaming, brand voice on Twitter, sports and entertainment content, and overall love of Twitter as a service.
The candidate must be operationally rigorous, self-disciplined, and organized. This role requires the ability to manage multiple day-to-day assignments, navigate media inquiries, and provide briefings and media coverage reports to both Twitter’s communications and various stakeholder teams.
This role will report into a Sr Manager, Communications in New York City and provide support to both the Consumer Communications and Customers Communications Teams, as well as other comms units during critical and crisis related moments.
