Group Operations carries out high-quality and efficient banking services to clients across the Business divisions ensuring an excellent execution of millions of transactions daily. We operate globally in four regions – 'Switzerland', 'APAC', 'Americas' and 'UK Entities, Wroclaw & Dublin'.

We apply a continual focus on improving productivity and efficiency while seeking new and innovative ways to support clients' changing needs.

Global Soft Dollar (GSD) operations is the only function across GO globally which is operating from a centralized location under one roof in the CS Pune captive site supporting all the 3 regions i.e. APAC, EMEA and AMER. The role is to manage a team of approx. 5 individuals supporting this function for the AMER region. The role entails multiple challenges and opportunities to excel since this is also the only function across GO which is a microcosm of GO.

Key Objectives/Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliations and journal postings.
  • Manage SoX testing and General ledger Account Ownership (GLAO) sign off.
  • Be responsible for managing Client invoicing.
  • Projecting revenues to front office.
  • Making third party payments and setting up static data in the systems.

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferable a CA or CFA or CPA degree.
  • Detailed understanding of Financial Products within an Investment Banking Environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the front to back office flows in a Banking Business and potential inherent control and operational risks.
  • Approximately 10 years of proven experience, preferably in Operations, and experience of having managed operations teams with a size of at least 5-6 FTEs.
  • Strong Project Management Experience is desirable.
  • Having Global Experience in Reputed Investment banks and managing multi culture locations.
  • Good knowledge of SoX framework and hands on experience with focus on building controls.
  • Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also working under pressure to deliver on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills combined with strong problem solving capabilities.
