Department Overview
CSBB Operations, delivers a diverse set of foundational operational and contact center services for the enterprise and to consumer, small business, and wholesale customers, providing stability, scalability, and security for Wells Fargo. Services include deposits, payments and ATM operations, global fraud and claims, account reconciliation, wire transfers, cash vault and lockbox services, print and image services, unclaimed property processing, legal order processing, estate care, and voice, email, chat, and social media services for consumer and small business customers.

About the Role
The role would require working in a team of Operations Accountants to fulfill work type requirement of performing mid to high complex tasks within Writs & Levies processing & meet service level agreement as defined by the business.TM will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting legal orders by conducting analysis to identify any production-related exposure and ensuring compliance of summons and subpoenas, levies and/or other legal documents on behalf of Wells Fargo to include multiple lines of businesses.Uses subject matter expertise to identify and perform ongoing potential risk-related reviews and generates reports summarizing results. Makes recommendations to improve operational performance that follow and support policies and procedures to reduce risk exposure. May perform high dollar approvals. May mentor and/or train less experienced Operations Accountants. May back up Front Line Manager in their absence and assist with advanced trainings.


  • An Operations Accountant 4 will performs a variety of operational tasks for the most complex processes or functions
  • Takes accountability for entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closure
  • Tasks require coordination of information among various operational areas and customers. Uses multiple online systems
  • Duties may include - receiving and reviewing incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed, entering transactions into systems, verifying with accuracy; resolving complex customer/client requests using multiple resources and records
  • Preparing, editing, distributing, and/or correcting specialized and/or complex documents. Works under general supervision following established procedures
  • Exercises some judgment within guidelines
  • Considered a subject matter expert on operational issues related to process or function
  • Acts as escalation point for less senior processors for complex issues or transactions, providing training as needed
  • Ability to train the new joiners and audit the existing team members on various tasks
  • Independently picks up knowledge/skills in one’s own area of work 
  • Flexibility towards work on different processes/assignments and shifts
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and takes team initiatives
  • Connect with LOB partners on conference calls/understand updates etc.  
  • Awareness and maintenance of process related reports

Essential Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Commerce or any other discipline
  • Experience of more than 5 plus years in banking/Financial Services operations
  • 3 plus years working experience with mid to high complexity process
  • Strong analytical skills with eye to details
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken
  • Good command on Coaching, training and mentoring new joiners/existing team members
  • Flexible with working in US operational hours i.e. India night shifts
  • Schedule is considered to be open-ended. Additional/extended hours may be required based on business need
